The Global Leadership Academy held their annual Trashy Fashion Show in Jeffreys Bay last weekend at the Fountains Mall.
The models all wore dresses made from items we normally just throw away in our trash.
The winning model was Meagan Hubbard, a Grade 10 student from GLA, who wore a dress designed by Annica Erasmus, also a Grade 10 student at GLA.
In second place was Taminique De Meilon from GLA, who wore a dress designed by Cathrin White, with third place going to Monique Van Eeden who wore a dress created by Bianca Stumke.
“Thanks to all the sponsors who made the Trashy Fashion Show possible,” said organiser Lizette Kemp afterwards.
The Trashy Fashion Show is one of GLA’s main fundraisers towards the building of their new school.
