Business women from Kouga are invited to join the Municipality this year in celebrating National Women’s Day on Friday, August 9.
The municipality will be hosting a market for local business women at Dolphin Beach, Jeffreys Bay, from 9am to 4pm on the day.
All business women from the Kouga region are invited to take a stall at the market free of charge.
Kouga Mayor Booi Koerat said the aim of the market would be to showcase the talents of Kouga women in the Kouga area and to create awareness of the contribution that women make to the economy of the area.
It will also serve as an opportunity for them to exhibit and sell their wares.
“The market is aimed at all women in business, be they restaurant owners, caterers, clothing designers and manufacturers, crafters, florists, beauty and health practitioners, jewellery designers, tourism operators or shop owners,” he said.
All women who are interested in taking part in the market are invited to contact Cassandra Camons on 042 200 2219 or firstname.lastname@example.org by July 31.
