Oakley X Over presented by Seartec
Today saw the start of the Oakley X Over presented by Seartec take place at the St Francis Links Golf Course.
South African all-round cricket player Simon Harmer had a challenging start to the cross over event.
“It was a bit disappointing for me, with everyone very competitive, and it would have been good to have done slightly better on the golf course,” said Simon.
“I’ve never ever surfed competitively and that’s what I’m going to be looking forward to the most. It’s an amazing event and it’s great to be here with all the boys.”
The Oakley X Over will continue tomorrow Thursday 14 July at the Lower Point in JBay at 9 am for the surf contest.
Winter MusicFest at the JBay Winterfest
Tomorrowwill also see the Australian duo Cut Snake performing their deep house vibes at Jolly Dolphin as part of the Winter MusicFest.
