The South African Police have arrested a suspect in the case of missing Jeffreys Bay businessman Claus Schroeder, who is believed to have been murdered.
Claus went missing in August 2009 and the Police have been investigating the case, with trips made to Europe to gather evidence as the prosecution has worked to build a strong case.
A female was arrested yesterday in Thornhill while the Police are still hunting for a male suspect. Her case has been postponed until 28 July and she will be held without bail until then.
Claus and his family have been living in Jeffreys Bay for many years and started a factory that built motor homes. His son Tobias was selected to represent Germany in an international surfing competition earlier this year.
