Jeffreys Bay is gearing up for a bumper holiday season with the Council being hard at work fixing potholes and cleaning the town up in anticipation of the influx of holidaymakers from all over South Africa.

Maintenance to the power lines will hopefully prevent a similar disaster to 2014, when Jeffreys Bay was without power for nearly three days due to a collapse of a power pylon.

Additional sewage and waste removal trucks have also been hired by the Kouga Council to cater for the increased demands upon its services.
