Dam levels are rising with persistent rain

The Eastern Cape branch of the SA weather service has advised that the rainy weather is expected to continue through the province for the rest of the week with clearance from the west only expected around Sunday evening.

In the catchment areas the past two days, Joubertina has received a total of 13 mm of rain, Patensie 42 mm, Kareedouw 13 mm and Kouga 20 mm

In the past few days, Jeffreys Bay has received approximately 60 mm of rain, causing big pot holes in the roads all over the town.
