A matric learner from High School Nico Malan was stabbed nine times on Friday morning.
According to an eye-witness the victim asked two grade nine boys to wait in order for the girls to get off the school bus first.
“They then pulled out a knife and started stabbing him,” says the eye-witness.
According to the eye-witness one of the learners who is a first-aider at the school, tried to treat the wounds, but it was immediately established that the victim must get to a hospital for treatment.
The victim was stabbed in his arms, shoulder, neck and chest.
“The school told us and the teachers to keep quiet this, but I feel that is not something to keep quiet about.”
The Police are investigating a case of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, according to Sergeant Nkohli from the South African Police.
