A unique view of the lighthouse at Cape St Francis taken by drone photographer of note, Dale Staples.
The lighthouse is the tallest masonry lighthouse in South Africa, standing at 27.75m high and the light has a range of 28 sea miles.
It came into operation on 4 July 1878.
The lighthouse continues to watch over the coast today and continues to warn ships of the dangers associated with the coastline at Cape St Francis.
