E-Street cafe set to rock JBay

Jeffreys Bay was rocking to the sound of a Bruce Springsteen concert last night as the official opening of the E-Street Cafe took place in the Fountains Mall.

Situated where Ocean Basket used to be, E-Street Cafe is the new baby of local couple Marius and Lorraine Malherbe, who also own the highly popular Kitchen Windows restaurant.
Named after their favourite singer, Bruce Springsteen’s band, E-Street is going to be a whole lot more than just a place where one can be guaranteed of good food at a reasonable price.
The ambience is eclectic and modern, yet warm and inviting. The menu is an interesting mix of quick, healthy meals that will suit every food lover’s needs.
The trading hours for E-Street Cafe will be as follows:
Mon – Wed 9am to 6pm
Thu – Sat 9am – 9pm
Sundays 9am – 3pm

There will be a cocktail hour from 6 pm – 7 pm from Thursday to Saturday evenings, while live entertainment will keep patrons occupied every Friday evening.
Rugby on the big screen will ensure E-Street will be the place to be for the men, while the ladies shop in Fountains Mall on Saturday’s, while an unique movie night will provide more entertainment, with showings of some of the all time classic films from the past every Monday evening.
