
Jeffreys Bay is rapidly turning into a hub for renewable energy in South Africa and a number of windfarms are due to come online within the next few years in the region.
The huge turbines are being transported from Port Elizabeth and below is a schedule that travellers need to be aware of.

Please be advised of the latest delivery schedule of components for the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm. Wind turbines will be transported from the Port of Ngqura to the wind farm site near Humansdorp along the N2 or through Motherwell and Uitenhage joining the N2 at the Blue Horizon Bay exit).
Blades will leave the Port of Ngqura at approximately 6am. Other Components will leave port at approximately 9am.
Please note that this can change due to unforseen circumstances.
