Changes being proposed to official languages in the Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape Government has invited all residents to come and discuss proposed changes to the official languages of the Province.

Public hearings about the White Paper on Languages will be held tomorrow at the Pellsrus Hall, Jeffreys Bay, at 10am, and at the Humansdorp Country Club at 2pm.

The changes being proposed are not known at time of publishing, so residents are urged to attend these meeting and to voice their opinions as per their democratic right.
