JBaynews is giving away 5 weekend passes to our subscribers that will give them access to the 5 FM music festival that is starting on Friday evening.
Celicia Liebenberg is the first lucky winner and will be partying to bands like Hard-Fi, the internationally acclaimed rock band from England.
“I am so excited and cannot wait for the weekend and the 5FM music festival”, said Celicia. “The line up of bands and DJ’s is incredible and I want to thank JBaynews for my ticket!”
Event organiser Lloyd Cornwall is leaving nothing to chance and is busy ensuring the entire music festival will be undercover.
“We have been monitoring the weather report and by the looks of things, we are in for some rather cold, wet weather for the weekend” said Cornwall.
“The operations team has very swiftly moved into contingency planning, and the entire event will now be under cover. A tented village will be built, with thousands of square meters in cover, backing on to already existing buildings at the venue. This will be able to accommodate approximately 12 000 people”.
Come rain or shine, the 5FM Music festival at the Billabong Pro, driven by Nissan Juke will have everyone’covered’
“You have heard of an ‘underground’ party, well we are planning an ‘undercover’ party. Nothing, not even the elements are going to stop us from rocking JBay this weekend” added Cornwall.
“We are building a ‘tented village’ and the entire party will be undercover. The rain and the cold will not affect us at all”.
JBaynews is giving away another 4 weekend passes to the 5FM music festival so make sure you in line to win by becoming a subscriber.
