Seekoei River Wine Festival 2011

Following the successful launch of the Seekoei River Wine Festival last year, its all happening again this year! Come and taste wines, enjoy delicious foods and relax at the beautiful Seekoei River.
The following Cellars will be represented: Windmeul, Ladera, Vendôme and Wolvendrift.

  • When: 17 December
  • Time: 10h00 to 18h00
  • Cost: R60 per adult (includes tasting glass and all wine tasting)
  • R10 per child (child-friendly activities, including a jumping castle and animal touch farm)

On the menu will be Fairview cheese platters, Knysna oysters, prawns, chicken sosaties, pâtés, fresh breads, olives, biltong, freshly roasted coffee and lots for the sweet tooth!
Visitors can meet the wine makers and so find out all about the vineyards and wine making processes to which food parings are recommended with their specific wines.

Other stalls with clothing jewellery and beautiful gifts will also exhibit.
Everybody is welcome from wine enthusiasts to those who want to learn how to taste wine.
Wine can be bought to take home or can be enjoyed with a delicious picnic on the banks of the meandering Seekoei River.
This is what J’Bay is all about: a few oysters, a cold glass of Chardonnay and a view that inspires you!
