Eight passengers were injured after a bus overturned on the road between Jeffreys Bay and Humansdorp.
Apparently the steering system malfunctioned on the bus and locked, causing the bus to leave the road and crash into an embankment. It then overturned next to the embankment.
The injured passengers were treated at the Isisivana Hospital in Humansdorp for various injuries while the rest of the 32 passengers on board as well as the driver were unharmed in the accident.
A case of reckless and negligent driving has been open by the Police but nobody has been arrested at this stage.
