Marina Martinique goes green

Recycling of waste to support the Jeffreys Bay recycling project will be supported by residents of Marina Martinique from next week as they prepare to start sorting out their rubbish into different bags for collection.

The Marina is home to open water swimming in the Eastern Cape, has started to recycle waste.

Glass bottles, plastic bottles and tins will be placed in separate bags by the Marina, with newspapers and magazines also being sorted.
“We are grateful to Rita Strydom, one of our homeowners, who has got the ball rolling with regard to recycling on the Marina”, said Vernon Heunis who is the General Manage of the upmarket estate in Jeffreys Bay.
