Still no bail for Claus Schroeder murder accused

The bail hearing of Jens Leunberg, the man accused of murdering Jeffreys Bay businessman Claus Schroeder was postponed yet again in Port Elizabeth yesterday.

The magistrate who was supposed to preside over the hearing was involved in a car accident and the hearing was postponed until next Tuesday.
Schroeder went missing in 2009 after going to visit Leunberg on a farm in Thornhill. The South African Police and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions decided there was enough evidence to lay charges against Leunberg after an investigation that led them to believe a prosecution for murder was possible, even without a body being found.
