Carnival Time in St Francis Bay

The St Francis Tourism’s Carnival on 2 July promises a program filled with fun for everyone.
To kick off the day, St Francis Sport is hosting a 5km and 10km fun run and walk through the streets of this beautiful Village.

Registration starts at 08:00 at the St Francis Sport caravan in front of The Tennant Centre in St Francis Drive. The run starts at 09:00 and runners will follow a route through Assissi Drive, Lyme Road and St Francis Drive.
The first three positions (men and ladies) will receive medals. The entry fee is R40 for adults and R20 for all learners (it includes the entry fee to the Festival).
The Talhado Steel band will provide music during the day. Between 12:00 and 14:00 kids can make their own pizzas, at 14:30 the Police Dogs will have a show on the grass opposite the filling station and at 15:30 all kids can take part in a fancy dress competition.
At 16:30 all the ladies can sit back and enjoy a fashion show.

From 17:00 festivities will move to the beer tent and a lamb on the spit. Local musicians will supply music for the dance floor. Other entertainment includes a jumping castle, face painting, sand art, a clown, flea market, donkey cart rides, rodeo rides and a tea garden.
The entry fee is R20 for adults, R10 for children under 17 and kids under 12 free of charge. See you there – at The Tennant Centre.
