All sports codes in Jeffreys Bay are invited to a meeting at the Newton Hall this afternoon as Minister Nkwinti from the Eastern Cape Government will be in town to chair the meeting.
This is a positive move for sport in Jeffreys Bay as facilities are generally lacking and the town does not even have a public swimming pool.
Mr. Nkwiniti will be discussing how the provincial Department of Sport can assist sports codes and how proposals should be submitted to them for consideration.
The meeting starts at 3 Pm and all sports bodies in the Kouga region as well as schools are invited to attend.
