The project is a community based affair which sees kids collect recyclable junk like plastic bottles, tins and glass that they bring to the Pellsrus Primary School on a Monday afternoon. Volunteers sign in the kids, weigh the recyclable materials, give points for tokens which the kids can trade in the Recyling Swop Shop.
The Swop Shop is stocked by donations from businesses, friends of the project and the community.
