Protest march allowed during Billabong


Permission has been granted by the Kouga Municipality to hold a “No Nuke at Thyspunt” march on the 17th July at 9.30 a.m. opposite Billabong Factory shop.

The march will then go along da Gama road to the Municipal building between 10.15 and 10.30 a.m and follows on the protest at Supertubes beach on International Surfing Day in June.

The organisers  request that people wear yellow or black and bring their SA flag and vuvuzelas and make a noise. The protest will take place during the Billabong Pro surf contest waiting period which starts on 15 June.
