To be a real man can mean different things to different people.
Some would say the definition of a man would be to possess the qualities traditionally associated with men, such as ruggedness, maleness, vigour, brawniness and muscularity.
Others will think of a man as being an adult male, as distinguished from a child or female, exhibiting attributes such as courage and strength.
Many people believe a man is someone honourable and of good repute – a man of his word – who looks after his family, his wider community and gains in wisdom as he ages.
To somebody like Alexander Venter, to be a real man is to live a life of love, and he will be sharing on what it takes to be a real man at the Victory Men’s Conference taking place on 29 – 31 August.
Venter is the key speaker of the Igniting the Fire in the Hearts of Men conference, which will be held at the Victory Church in Jeffreys Bay.
“Alexander will teach over three sessions on becoming the kind of man God wants men to be, while Julian Adams will conclude the 2014 Victory Christian Church Men’s Conference by ministering prophetic insight and divine revelation into our lives,” said Johan Bester, a pastor at VCC.
All men in Kouga, and beyond are invited to attend the conference.
The programme even includes time to watch the wounded Blue Bulls take on Western Province at Loftus!
