The DA helping voters in Ward 14 – Tokyo Sexwale

In Jeffreys Bay, the voter registration point at the NG Church in Wavecrest was busy with over 200 registrations, followed by Ocean View with just under 200 registrations on Saturday.

On Sunday, Tokyo Sexwale and the Newton Hall were the busiest voter stations with both recording over 200 registrations.

The national election will take place on 7 May 2014.

Any voters who missed out on the opportunity to register can visit the IEC office in Humansdorp to register.

They are urged to do this quickly as once President Zuma has proclaimed the date, the voters roll will be closed.

Proclaimation is expected before the end of February.
