Supertubes toilets vandalised

The toilets at the Supertubes Park were vandalised over the weekend and are yet again unusable by the public.

This is despite the sterling efforts of the Supertubes Surfing Foundation (SSF) who have tried their utmost best to keep the Supertubes Park as well as the toilets in as good as condition as possible.

The SSF recently painted the toilets but some vandals went and wrecked the only public toilet at Supertubes by throwing paint around.

The toilets at Point have also been vandalised recently with doors being broken off.

Supertubes is regarded as one of the best waves in the world and now there is not even a toilet that can be used by the surfers or spectators, many of whom come from overseas and spend their dollars and euro in Jeffreys Bay.

The JBU Surf Club is offering a reward for information that will identify the vandals and all information received will be treated as confidential.

Emails can be sent to editor@jbaynews.com or pop into Core Surf Gear if you know anything about what happened in the Supetubes Park.
