Local J’Bay surfer Dylan Lightfoot has been signed up by the Nixon brand as a team rider.
Hard charging Lightfoot has had an impressive year so far, placing second at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Games as well as winning the award for Best Junior Surfer at the Xcel Pro Showdown At Supers.
Dylan also had an impressive entry into the Oakley One Wave Wonder event for a dynamic ride at Supertubes.
The 16 year old has a reputation for charging big waves, and is always out surfing at his favourite wave Supertubes, when the waves
Dylan is a serious competitor, and is always a threat in any event regardless of the wave size or conditions.

Lightfoot already has a successful junior career behind him, a few more years in the junior ranks, and then a world of possibilities ahead of him in the professional ranks. He has been lauded by top South African surf industry members in the pages of Zigzag Surfing
Magazine, and is coached by the legendary Graham Hynes.
