Jeffreys Bay experienced true winter weather over the past few days as big cold fronts hammered the South African coast. There were waves at Supertubes, lots of hard rain and snow on the Langkloof Mountains.

The weather is expected to clear from today but many locals made it up into the snow for some fun and games.

It is not often we see entire fields covered with snow. The hard rain and snow, once it melts bodes well for the empty dams in the area.

Karien and Bremer Pauw had fun building a snowman in the freezing weather.
