Hankey ward councillor Lulamile Ntshiza, affectionately known as “Luks”, died of suspected heart failure on Sunday, September 21. He was 42 years old.
Luks was the ward councillor on the Kouga Council, he was also the Chief Whip of the ANC in Council and the chairperson of the ANC Kouga sub-region.
Clr Ntshiza leaves behind his wife, Nosimo Jolene, three children, his mother and sisters.
Executive Mayor Koerat said the prayers of Council were with Clr Ntshiza’s family and all those affected by his passing away.
“He was a unique person and it would be impossible to replace him. I would like to believe, however, that the sun will shine again for the family and all of us who have thrown into darkness by this tragedy.”
