RVCA Rolling Retro surf event is back

The 2015 version of the RVCA Rolling Retro surf event is set to return to Llandudno, and it promises to be another chilled and cruisy day on the beach.

Retro boards, supplied by VUDU Surf, will be available for all competitors, and the criteria is simply for the boards to be ridden with the suitable style that they deserve.

The event will be set up around the Lifesaving Club at Llandudno Beach.

It tends to get pretty warm down at the Lifesaving Club, so spectators and contestants are advised to bring down plenty of sun protection.

Saturday 22 February is the celebrated date, and it’s going to be a big day.

Registration opens at 9am, the heats kick off at 10am, and the Pro Heat is scheduled for 4pm.

Should the conditions prove totally out of control, there is a backup day of 29 February.

The entry for the event is R100, and this includes an event vest and the use of one of the Retro Collectible boards if required.
