A group of between 80 – 100 people burned tyres and blocked off the Aston Bay road on Saturday afternoon.
This latest service delivery protest is the second time the Ocean View traffic circle has been taken over, following a similar incident in June .
The protesters are complaining about a lack of service delivery in Ocean View.
The Station Commander of the Jeffreys Bay Police, Lt Col Solani deployed sufficient manpower and managed to stabilize the situation.
No arrests were effected and no further incidents were reported.
Protesters disbanded afterwards.
The road was cleared and open to traffic shortly after the incident.
