The organisers of the Shell Festival have taken note of the inputs from the community and visitors to previous festivals and an event with a new feel and atmosphere can be expected this year in Jeffreys Bay.

The Festival will take place from 30 September – 2 October to coincide with the school holidays. For the first time in the history of the town, a Dive Festival will be taking place over the same period.

Live music as well as the Miss Earth Eastern Cape will all take place near the Ski boat Club over the weekend.

A fun fair will be situated in the car park near the Ski Boat Club to entertain the youngsters.

Stalls, a cultural village, a national volleyball competition as well as a mini Oyster Festival are all on the programme as well.

Despite working on a tight budget, the Festival organisers are confident that there will be more on offer this year for visitors and are looking forward to laying a solid foundation for years to come as the Shell is put back into the Shell Festival.
