December  is approaching fast and this means thousands of holidaymakers are getting ready to  descend on Jeffreys Bay. This is good news for the local economy which has struggled to survive through one of the toughest years ever in the history of the town.

December also brings its challenges for the Law Enforcement agencies as the world load increases in keeping all the locals as well as the visitors safe.

The Jeffreys Bay Community Police Forum (CPF)  is planning to hold a friendly roadblock on 15 December 2011 during which safety awareness tips along with a goody bag will be distributed to visitors who will be arriving in the town on that day.

At a cost of R 300 per 1500 flyers, anyone who would like to advertise can still arrange to have their flyers or promotional items given out at the roadblock.
