Have your say about Municipal plans in your community

The Kouga Municipality will be meeting with local communities this December to review its Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for the 2015/2016 financial year.

The IDP is the principal strategic document of the municipality and forms the basis of the municipal budget.

DA Councillor Brenton Williams explains, “If there are roads in your suburbs that need upgrading, water pressure problems or water pipes regularly bursting, this is your opportunity to let the Municipality know, so that infrastructural upgrades can be planned and budgeted for in the upcoming financial year.”

Communities are, therefore, encouraged to attend the consultation meetings to ensure that their needs are captured correctly and addressed in an integrated manner.

The meetings will take place as follows:

• 16H00 at the Sea Vista Community Hall for Ward 12
• 18H00 at the Kruisfontein Civic Centre for Ward 4
