An upmarket Wavecrest guest house was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning. Nobody was harmed during the incident.

At 3 am the owner of the guest house heard movement but thought it could possibly be guests. “I did have a bad feeling about it though as we were broken into last week as well”, said the owner who wishes to remain anonymous.

The previous robbery took place at 5 am in the morning.

Entry was gained through outer doors in both incidents.

The Community Police Forum (CPF) has urged residents to remain vigilant and to report any crime to the South African Police and to report any incidents to the CPF via kougaswim@vodamail.co.za as well.

Residents can also sign up on the Mobilitate website to report crime and receive alerts when crime has been reported by other residents.
