All residents of Aston Bay are invited to attend a community meeting to discuss the crime situation in the suburb.

The meeting will take place at 6 pm at the Aston Bay Community Hall on the beach front.

There have been a number of house breakings in Aston Bay over the past couple of months, which have concerned residents.

The head of the Neighbourhood Watch, Roy Riberio says that more members are needed in the Watch.

“We need to have more vehicles patrolling at night as we are determined to bring crime back under control in Aston Bay.

We have also identified some hot spots in the suburb and will be discussing these at the meeting tonight,” said Riberio.
