The Jeffreys Bay community can breathe a sigh of relief that the suspected rapist of a young teenage girl is behind bars.
The rape took place near Nautilis Street in C-Place a couple of weekends ago.

The Police identified the suspect based on the description supplied by the victim and he will appear in court shortly.

Police also took Patrick Qampi into custody. Qampi who is wanted on intimidation charges as well as bilking locally, may also have other charges pending against him along the Garden Route.

Patrick Qampi was arrested and will appear in court this week.

Two drug dealers were also arrested over the weekend, one in C-Place and the other in Wavecrest. Both will appear in court this week. Quantities of dagga and tik were confiscated during the raids.
