69 year old Jeffreys Bay woman robbed in her home

A high speed car chase along the Jeffreys Bay – Humansdorp road resulted in the local Police arresting two suspects after a 69 year woman was overpowered and robbed in her Paradise Beach home in the early hours of this morning.

The victim was accosted by three suspects who robbed her of valuables including cell phones and cash and they then stole her red KIA Pinco and fled from her house.

The woman bravely contacted the Jeffreys Bay Police, who alerted all units in the area.

At around 3 am, the Police spotted the car on the Jeffreys Bay – Humansdorp road and a high speed pursuit began.

The Police managed to force the  the vehicle off the road and arrested two suspects after they attempted to flee into the bushes.

A third suspect escaped but a man hunt is already underway to find the thug.

The Humansdorp Cluster Commander, Brigadier Jantjies praised the efforts of his Police members and gave the assurance that the man hunt will continue until they arrest the third suspect.
