Another Jeffreys Bay business was the target of an armed robbery attempt at 7.30 am this morning.

The business, situated in Da Gama Road was approached by two men, who are armed with at least one gun.  The modus operandi is similar to the attempted robbery yesterday morning when a local businessman was shot dead as he opened his cash loan operation in Pellsrus.

In both instances the suspects fled on foot.  The CPF and Jeffreys Bay Police urge businesses to be extremely vigilant when opening up in the mornings as in both instances the suspects fled the scene empty handed.  There is real concern that the armed suspects will make another attempt and may even try during the day, at closing time or tomorrow morning.

The suspects have been described as two young black males. Should you notice suspicious looking people loitering around your business contact the Police or your security firm immediately and do not approach the suspects as they are armed and dangerous and have killed already.
